
Mikal Blue
Mikal Blue is a Grammy winning, multi-platinum selling music producer, songwriter, engineer and mixer best known for his work with OneRepublic, Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz and Five For Fighting. Originally from County Durham, England, Mikal Blue is currently based in Thousand Oaks, California where he works from his 10,000 square-foot studio complex ‘Revolver Recordings’. In addition to his work as a producer, songwriter, engineer, mixer and instrumentalist, Blue has worked in developing acts such as Augustana, OneRepublic and Colbie Caillat. He has helped secure major record label deals for more than 15 new artists through development and mentoring. As an artist he was signed to A&M Records in the 90s. His album ‘Gold’ was featured on the hit ABC TV Show ‘October Road’. He is currently signed to Sony/ATV as a songwriter.
With a heart for giving back to the community that he loves, works and lives in, Mikal recently organized and produced the "Music Strong" benefit concert for the victims and families of the Borderline Bar and Grill shooting with Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Rick Springfield, Rita Wilson, and Pablo Cruise headlining.
Alex Lebowitz
Alex Lebowitz is a multi-instrumentalist, engineer, mixer, producer and songwriter. Working alongside artists such as Macy Gray, Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men), Extreme, Rainn Wilson, Aaryan Shah and many more, he has developed experience in nearly every aspect of audio recording. Alex’s music journey began at age 6, when he started taking piano lessons; between 10-12 he began playing guitar and bass, leading to shows all over the Los Angeles area. By 13 he started taking music classes at his local community college as well as picking up drums.
While music has always been his passion, Alex earned his degree studying film and media at UCSB, after which he worked as an editor for several years. In this time he acquired many skills beyond editing, including cinematography, scoring, and lighting.
In his 2+ years working at Revolver Alex has become an invaluable member of the studio team, working closely with Grammy-winning multi-Platinum selling producer Mikal Blue. Through Revolver, he has been working with Macy Gray leading to a personal invitation as sole backline tech for her and the California Jet Club touring throughout Europe, Australia, and the US.
Alex’s attention to detail has made him an asset for many respected artists, producers, directors, etc. He values teamwork and collaboration above all, and is incredibly grateful to be part of the Revolver Recordings team.
Dalton Cyr
Dalton Cyr is a singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Jacksonville Beach, FL.
A prolific songwriter, described as Ed Sheeran and John Mayer meet Justin Timberlake, Cyr has written at Revolver for over 6 years, and his works have been featured in TV and film. A Taylor Guitars’ artist, Cyr was inducted into Robert M Knight’s The Brotherhood of the Guitar, a group of guitarists identified as the legends of tomorrow.
As an artist, Cyr began touring when he was 12 years old and has perofremed throughout the US in front of audiences as large as 50,000+.
As an engineer, Cyr recently led the audio team at Westbrook Media and Penguin Random House to create the audio experience of Will Smith’s bestselling memoir “Will”.
As a SAG actor, Cyr was cast as Rudolph Valentino in the movie “Silent Life”, which he is currently filming. He starred as the lead “Judd” in Amazon Studio’s music-driven sitcom “A History of Radness” and had a recurring role in FreeForm’s hit show “Pretty Little Liars”, among others. He’s been nominated and won multiple awards for both acting and music including awards for Best Music Video, Best Filmmaker Under 18, Audience Choice, Best Original Song, Best Ensemble Cast, Director’s Choice and Best Performance.
